Thank you for stopping by my portfolio!

I'm happy to introduce myself! Outside of my desire to help others, I'm an artist. When I was in high school, after I received an award and nomination for an art scholarship, I was told that I would never find work as an artist. Also, that I don't need a piece of paper to define me (meaning, a degree). As you could imagine, this discouraged me, and I never chased my dream.
 
Feeling the pressure to find my career, I pursued my second passion, which is nutritional science. I received my bachelor's degree and have worked within the healthcare industry for many years. 

In 2020, I decided to do the unthinkable, and made a career change. After being introduced to Human Resources, I wanted to try making a difference in others' lives; to help people achieve, learn, and grow in ways I didn't.

Although I never worked in art as a full-time employee, I've continued my passion as a freelance artist.

My artistic nature will always shine through the work I accomplish, especially with creative problem solving. My portfolio is here to showcase, not only my creative works, but also my thinking processes.
